Event Info
The ‘Bornes' To Fly race combines paragliding and hiking, In the same vein as the famous X-Alps. A three-day race with two bivouacs in the heart of nature. The itinerary (between 100 to 250 Km) will be determined by the Event Director according to the weather forecast. It will take the pilots across the most beautiful scenery of Haute Savoie. There is only one certainty, you will leave on foot from the plage d’Angon, au bord du lac d’Annecy, to come back there three days later.
Every participant will move forward according to his or her own physical capacity and technical skills or simply based on personal desire.

Location Details
The potential playground is large, and is spectacular Alpine scenery. It encompasses the Bauges, Chablais, Mont Blanc, Belledonne and Chartreuse ranges.
Organizers
The organizer is Les Gaz’Ailes du Lac paragliding club (non profit association 1901). The race director is chosen by the organizer.

Registration Details
In order to be registered, each driver will have to pay the registration fee in full, i.e. 125 euros per team, as well as send us all the required documents.
The transfer costs will be the responsibility of the pilot and can be claimed on 13 of May 2021.
Pilots will receive an email confirming their registration. The list of pilots will be posted on the Bornes to Fly website and updated regularly. There is a limited number of open places. The first complete files will be prioritized and validated. Then, the pilots will be on the waiting list (complete file). The organization reserves 10 wildcard.
The organisation reserves the right to refuse a pilot entry if he doesn't reach the standard required by the organisation, to compete in safety.
The registration fees of 125 euros include :
– Security control during the race;
– The loan of a live tracker for safety and monitoring during the race.
Refund : In case of withdrawal after the 14 March 2021, the organization will not refund the registration fee unless a medical certificate is provided.
In the event of a refund of the registration, regardless of the reason or the date of withdrawal, 5 euros will be kept as administrative fees.
Prizes
Top placement will have a race trophy.
